کل ایک کمیونٹی نشست میں شرکت کی سعادت ملی، جس کی دعوت مجھے محترم ڈاکٹر قمر فاروق صاحب نے دی تھی۔ اس محفل میں بیٹھے ہر پاکستانی بھائی اور بہن کے دل میں ایک ہی آرزو تھی: “کاش کوئی ایسا راستہ ہو جہاں سے ہماری آواز اسپین اور پاکستان کے اداروں تک پہنچ سکے۔ کاش کوئی ہمارے مسائل سنے، ہمارا ساتھ دے۔”
اسی لمحے میں نے سوچا — کسی اور کے آنے کا انتظار کیوں؟ بارش برسنے کے لیے ایک پہلا قطرہ ضرور گرتا ہے، پھر باقی قطرے اس کے پیچھے چلے آتے ہیں۔ میں نے فیصلہ کیا کہ وہ پہلا قطرہ میں خود بنوں۔
اسی سوچ سے “اوورسیز پاکستانی” کا یہ ڈیجیٹل پلیٹ فارم جنم لے رہا ہے — ایک ایسی جگہ جہاں:
- جن بھائی بہنوں کو ہسپانوی زبان نہیں آتی، وہ روزمرہ زندگی کے لیے آسان اسپینش سیکھ سکیں
- روزگار تلاش کرنے والوں اور روزگار دینے والوں کا آپس میں رابطہ ہو سکے
- پاکستان کے اداروں سے متعلق شکایات باقاعدہ اور مؤثر طریقے سے پہنچائی جا سکیں
- اسپین کے دفاتر میں پیش آنے والے مسائل کو صحیح جگہ تک پہنچایا جا سکے، اور جواب واپس ہم تک آ سکے
یہ واضح رہے کہ یہ پلیٹ فارم اسپین ہو یا پاکستان، کسی بھی جگہ کسی سیاسی سرگرمی، جماعت یا نظریے سے وابستہ نہیں ہے، اور نہ کبھی ہوگا۔ ہمارا واحد مقصد یہ ہے کہ ہماری کمیونٹی کے لوگ باشعور، باصلاحیت اور مفید شہری بن سکیں۔ یہ صرف ایک آغاز ہے — آنے والے وقت میں اسی پلیٹ فارم میں مزید پروگرام اور سہولتیں شامل کی جاتی رہیں گی۔
یہ کام کسی ایک شخص کا نہیں — یہ ہم سب کی مشترکہ آواز ہے۔ میرا کردار اس ڈیجیٹل پلیٹ فارم کی بنیاد رکھنے اور اسے چلانے (بیک اینڈ) تک محدود ہے۔ لیکن اس آواز کو لوگوں تک لے جانے، زمین پر عملی شکل دینے کے لیے — ڈاکٹر قمر فاروق صاحب جیسے مخلص اور باہمت لوگوں کا آگے بڑھنا اور اس قافلے کی قیادت کرنا اتنا ہی ضروری ہے۔
اگر آپ بھی اس میں شامل ہوں، اپنی رائے دیں، اپنا وقت دیں، یا صرف اپنی دعا دیں — تو یہ قطرہ برسات بن سکتا ہے۔
ڈاکٹر قمر فاروق صاحب کا تہہ دل سے شکریہ، جن کی دعوت اور جن کے الفاظ نے مجھے اس راہ پر چلنے کا حوصلہ دیا۔
آئیے، مل کر اپنی آواز کو وہ طاقت دیں جس کی وہ حقدار ہے۔
Yesterday, I had the honor of attending a community gathering — an invitation extended to me by the respected Dr. Qamar Farooq. In that room, every Pakistani brother and sister carried the same longing in their heart: “If only there were a platform through which our voice could reach the institutions of Spain and Pakistan. If only someone would hear our struggles and stand with us.”
In that moment, I asked myself — why wait for someone else to begin? Every rainfall starts with a single drop, and the rest follow. I decided I would be that first drop.
From that thought, this digital platform — Overseas Pakistani — is being born: a place where:
- Those who don't speak Spanish can learn the everyday Spanish they need for daily life
- Job seekers and those who need workers can connect with each other
- Complaints related to Pakistani institutions can be submitted properly and followed through
- Issues faced with Spanish offices can be routed to the right place, with answers brought back to you
Let it be clear: this platform is not, and will never be, politically affiliated or involved — neither in Spain nor in Pakistan, with any party or ideology. Our only purpose is to help the people of our community become aware, capable, and useful citizens. This is only the beginning — more programs and facilities will keep being added to this platform over time.
This is not the work of one person — it is our collective voice. My role is limited to building and running this digital platform (the backend). But to carry this voice to the people, to give it real, on-the-ground shape — it is just as essential that sincere and courageous people, like Dr. Qamar Farooq, step forward and lead this caravan.

My heartfelt thanks to Dr. Qamar Farooq, whose invitation and words gave me the courage to take this step.

Ayer tuve el honor de asistir a una reunión comunitaria, cuya invitación me la extendió amablemente el Dr. Qamar Farooq. En esa sala, cada hermano y hermana pakistaní llevaba el mismo deseo en el corazón: «Ojalá existiera una plataforma a través de la cual nuestra voz pudiera llegar a las instituciones de España y Pakistán. Ojalá alguien escuchara nuestras dificultades y estuviera a nuestro lado.»
En ese momento me pregunté: ¿por qué esperar a que alguien más empiece? Toda lluvia comienza con una sola gota, y el resto la siguen. Decidí ser esa primera gota.
De ese pensamiento nace esta plataforma digital — Overseas Pakistani — un lugar donde:
- Quienes no hablan español puedan aprender el español esencial para la vida diaria
- Quienes buscan trabajo y quienes necesitan trabajadores puedan encontrarse
- Las quejas relacionadas con instituciones pakistaníes puedan enviarse de forma adecuada y con seguimiento
- Los problemas con oficinas españolas puedan dirigirse al lugar correcto, con respuestas que vuelvan a ustedes
Quede claro: esta plataforma no está, ni estará jamás, vinculada políticamente — ni en España ni en Pakistán, con ningún partido o ideología. Nuestro único propósito es ayudar a las personas de nuestra comunidad a convertirse en ciudadanos conscientes, capaces y útiles. Esto es solo el comienzo — con el tiempo, se seguirán añadiendo más programas y servicios a esta plataforma.
Este no es el trabajo de una sola persona — es nuestra voz colectiva. Mi papel se limita a construir y mantener esta plataforma digital (el backend). Pero para llevar esta voz a la gente, para darle una forma real sobre el terreno, es igual de esencial que personas sinceras y valientes, como el Dr. Qamar Farooq, den un paso al frente y lideren esta caravana.
Si se unen, comparten sus ideas, dan su tiempo, o simplemente ofrecen su apoyo — esta gota puede convertirse en un aguacero.
